To rename your character it costs 2000 gold. You will keep everything, town, plots, clothes, etc. On success you will be disconnected from the game, when you reconnect and sign back in you will see your new name.
/rename <player_name>
example:
/rename supercool_newname
I have tried to rename my character because i have 2000+ gold, but it says i need like 1000 gems and above it says i need 2000 gold?

This this ridiculous. I don’t use the gold coins and having 2000 coins to change your name ?most people don’t use their gold. The rest is on clothes. I liked it better when it didn’t cost coins to change your name. Please place back this old feature where you can change your name freely . Most players will become upset
It’s clearly not fair to other players to use 2000 gold just to change their names . They have it much affordable to clothes , mounts etc. but the name ? It’s just causes frustration

Xavier. I tried to rename my character but it says I need 1000 gems.. I have enough gold already and I’m fed up with my name. I have a lot in shop and I don’t want to lose them due to the renaming. Please turn it back to 2000 gold instead of 1000 gems because it’s difficult to get gems.
