Both mayors and their moderators can timeout a player. The mayor or moderator must be inside their town's borders for this to work. The player being timed out does not need to be in the town's borders.
The command is /timeout <player_name> [seconds]
Seconds is optional. If you don't send it with the command it will default to 10 minutes.
Example 1 /timeout xavier_robledo
Example 2 /timeout xavier_robledo 3600
Timed out players cannot chat in your town for the time you set.

You have to do something about people abusing that power. I was muted for saying something the comayor disagreed with and now I’m muted forever it seems. It would be nice if you could fix that issue and it would be much appreciated if you directly helped me.

July, I think if people mute whoever they want for amount they want, it’s their problem, because you can tell others that the comayor mutes for disagreeing so they will not go there. Xavier will not do anything with it, I think. He said, mayors of towns will take care about that once their towns will reach on top town. So if u need unmute you can ask a friend to ask mods/mayor to unmute you.
