You must be a mayor to do this. To claim plots for your town you must walk into the wilderness near the border of your town and say
The command /town claim costs gems and /town claimgold costs gold. If you use the command and don't have enough funds the price will be displayed. There is a minimum town distance of 5 plots. If you claim with gems there is no minimum town distance.
So, the minimum town distance of 5 plots for those who are using gold instead of gems, is that town size 5 plots, or 5 plots to the north, five plots to the south, east and west? Just wondering because I was confused when it says town distance and not town size.
Julia Donald, i guess, the wilderness plot that you want to claim should be right next to your town plot. I think there should be 5 plots distance between your and other town's border (not including the plot you are trying to claim into town), so after you claim the wild plot into town, there will be only 4 wild plots between your new town plot's border and you wont be able to claim plots with gold anymore. Hope you understand.
